I made a plug-in called TC-Sitemap, maybe you are interest in this.
This plug-in that auto-build the XML-Sitemap file and notify the google, yahoo, msn and ask.com to updates the blog's sitemap.xml
there are three languages I wrote & support, zh-TW, zh-CN and English.
